1. Purpose and Intended Audience
Pivot & Pulse is a cognitive and creative co-thinking application built for two specialized use cases:
- Creative Mode: Designed for innovators, builders, writers, and problem-solvers to break creative blocks using guided brainstorming prompts (such as Combinatorial Evolution and Chaos Theory).
- Care Mode: Designed for caregivers, health advocates, family members, and individuals looking to translate complex, de-identified health goals into compassionate, person-centric insights and actionable care plans.
2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Model
The Application runs as a decentralized, client-hosted utility. You must supply your own Google Gemini API Key from Google AI Studio (obtainable at ai.dev) to access the generation capabilities. Your key is stored securely on your browser’s local storage and is sent directly to secure endpoints to fulfill your request. We do not store or log your key on our servers.
3. Clinical Disclaimer and De-Identification
Pivot & Pulse is NOT a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical condition, nor is it a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a licensed clinical professional before acting on care plan outputs.
You must **never** input Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII)—including names, physical addresses, contact numbers, or identifying medical details. Built-in PII validation filters are active, but you hold complete responsibility for the absolute anonymity of your inputs.
4. Client-Side Data Sovereignty
All bookmarks, saved care plans, and history are saved solely to your browser's local cache (localStorage). Because we operate without accounts or databases, we cannot restore or recover your data if you clear your browser cache, reinstall your OS, or change devices.
5. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
This software is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. Under no circumstances shall the creators be held liable for any damages resulting from the use, reliability, or quality of insights generated by the artificial intelligence model.
